Reminds me this morning I saw, in the same driveway, a Miata and a 60 or 70’s Impala sedan.

Fresh-Prince Creations. Dude, they have so many cars, it’s not even funny.

I have most of his cars. How did you get it to work? He doesn’t have the correct file type.

You have to download it then extract it using some kind of file extractor (I use 7zip since it’s free). After extraction another file will show up in a .package format. Copy that file, then go to documents -> Electronic Arts -> Sims 3 -> Mods -> Packages and paste it into the folder. Should show up then.

And keep in mind that the ones with bows on them don’t actually have bows on them. I avoided them at first, before I realized they were just normal cars.

He’s great, I’ve been using his mods since sims 2 was current. Did you know its just one guy that makes the mods?

I did know. I also need to figure out how I can get the cars I’ve designed into the game. That would be cool.

BTW if you could share that house, I will award you one internet and a cat video of your choosing.

I’m only about 40% of the way done with it so pictures will have to do for now. Exterior’s basically done apart from landscaping and such:

But I’ve hit a wall with the rest of the house. The unfinished section of the left side (from this view) of the house will probably turn into an office/computer room, library, formal living room, and extra bedroom suite, and the master bedroom on the right side will get its own living room and office in addition to huge walk-in closets just to take up the extra space. Space behind the stairs will be formal seating with a pair of couches and coffee table in front of each fireplace.

Kinja'd!!!

Second floor’s all mapped out, all of the beige-floored rooms are bedrooms, each of which has a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom:

Basement should have a theater room and bar/pub kinda thing (dark-floored area) in addition to another full kitchen. I’m very strongly considering making another basement level, that way the movie theater can be two stories so I can fit a huge screen in it without it poking through the floor of the main level. Also trying to find custom content to make a wine cellar but no luck so far.

Kinja'd!!!

It sucks with houses like these you just get burnt out and it takes forever to finish them just because of the sheer effort required. I’ve probably been working on this thing for six months lol. Started another one but have been having the same problem too (ignore the furniture, that’s just a result of me reorganizing the entire first floor of the house):

Many thanks. I built a huge house for my affluent Sims and I’m getting kinda tired of it, and I liked what your house looks like. Took me half a day to make lol.

I’m amazed that only took a half day, the architecture on that house is really cool, especially all the different decks and stuff.I always end up building these monstrosities and endlessly tweaking them without ever making real progress. I never actually play as the families either so I have no real incentive to finish.

Thanks. I took some inspiration from this, mainly the hill/basement thing.

The creativity of some people in TS3 just amazes me. Not only that, but knowing how to manipulate the game to get what you want. It took me ages to figure out how to build the underground garage and the dude in your video’s doing way more complicated stuff like it’s nothing. Fucking constrainfloorelevation, man...
